Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Safely operate forklifts, stock pickers, high lifts, and pallet jacks to move freight and materials within the warehouse.
- Receive, unload, inspect, and verify freight deliveries for accuracy and quality.
- Organize and package large material shipments and ensure proper accounting of materials.
- Manage inventory stock levels, rotate materials, and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Perform routine equipment checks to ensure machinery is in good working condition.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment in compliance with warehouse safety standards.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Warehouse experience involving shipping and receiving.
- Capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (50 lbs+) for extended periods.
- Willingness to collaborate with other team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and handling of hazardous materials.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.75 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
