Description:
Experienced Warehouse / Stores Coordinators required for our Switchgear Factory located in North City Business Park, Finglas, Dublin 11.
This role requires the Warehouse / Stores Coordinator to perform their daily work tasks effectively and efficiently to the highest level of Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety standards, meeting specified targets and reporting all issues as required by the company. This role provides a key link between our plants in Citywest and Finglas where the coordination and movement of stock will be a key responsibility.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor this role requires the Warehouse Operator to perform their daily work tasks effectively and efficiently to the highest level of Quality / EHS standards meeting specified targets and reporting all issues as required by the company. This full-time permanent role.
Main Duties:
- Ensure adherence to all company EHS and Quality Assurance policies / procedures.
- Assist with the accurate reception of materials ensuring a match with the purchase order.
- Ensure stock is accurately transferred, stored and recorded into the warehouse.
- Control and expedite the flow of materials to Production according to scheduled priorities.
- Transferring and loading finished products to selected freight carriers.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by recording the location and movements.
- Completing and maintaining all related documentation as required.
- Complete daily checks on fork-lifts reporting any issues / defects to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain hygiene standards in the warehouse environment ensuring a consistent and audit ready state.
- Assist with scheduled stock counts and record when completed on the company ERP system.
- Ensure waste materials are stored in a safe and efficient manner prior to collection.
- Any other duties as specified by Warehouse Supervisor.
- Promote strong working relationships with all stakeholders, particularly Production and Warehouse
Requirements
Experience / Skills Required:
- Previous experience in material handling / warehousing would be preferable.
- Experience of using ERP system would be desirable.
- Counterbalance forklift license – preferable but not essential.
- Have strong EHS and housekeeping awareness.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as a team player.
- Well-organised, self-motivated and able to multi-task.
- Proficient in MS Office and have previous experience working with an ERP system.
