Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of various plant systems and equipment, ensuring efficient and safe production processes. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Operate and monitor programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Conduct regular equipment repair and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Manage tanker operations, including loading and unloading processes.
- Oversee water treatment and wastewater treatment processes, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with plant equipment effectively.
- Collect and analyze data related to plant operations for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as required by operational needs.
- Participate in construction projects related to plant upgrades or expansions.
- Apply basic math skills for measurement, calculations, and reporting purposes.
- Perform heavy lifting as necessary during maintenance or operational tasks.
- Assist with plumbing tasks as needed to support facility operations.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS).
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair and maintenance in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with tanker operations, water treatment processes, and wastewater treatment systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of machinery.
- Experience in data collection and analysis related to operational performance metrics.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment safely within a plant environment is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
