Water Treatment Service Technician / Field Chemist

We are an industrial water treatment company specialising in chemical treatment of steam boilers, cooling towers and closed loop systems.

We are looking for a science graduate to service customer accounts.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Visiting customer sites nationwide, performing water analysis, interpreting results, report writing and discussion with the client.

- To perform dosing and testing of open and closed water systems using supplied pumps and test kits.

- Working within a team to manage and maintain inventory of chemical, equipment, and parts for on-time delivery to customers.

- Water Sampling, analysis, delivery of samples to stores or labs.

- An analytical approach completing field documentation and reports in a timely fashion as determined by H&H and legislative requirements.

- Managing reports and comms via our in-house app system.

- Managing daily service activity workload at multiple sites. This requires strong time management skills and disciplined work behaviour.

- Maintaining a productive relationship with customer personnel at all times.

- Willingness to travel throughout local geographic region and national as required.

- Training as required during normal hours as deemed necessary by management.

- Career development would look to develop leads and the sales pipeline with commission earning potential.

Qualifications:

- Science graduate or similar with a good understanding of water chemistry basics.

- A working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems is desirable.

- Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience is desirable

Must have:

Full driving licence,
A personable and communicative approach with a strong work ethic and commitment.
Good reporting and IT skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Salary:
€45,000 - €60,000 (Negotiable depending on experience).
