Position Summary
We are seeking motivated Waterproofing Technicians and Apprentices to join our growing team. This role involves preparing structural surfaces, applying waterproofing and damp-proofing systems, and assisting in the installation of specialized products across commercial and residential projects. Experienced candidates will also have opportunities to supervise and mentor apprentices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare concrete and masonry surfaces for waterproofing applications.
• Apply waterproofing coatings and damp-proofing membranes using spray and hand tools.
• Install vehicular traffic coatings in parkades, balconies, and decks.
• Install and repair sheet membrane systems and flashings.
• Safely operate hand and power tools required for waterproofing and roofing tasks.
• Work with site supervisors to review drawings, organize materials, and maintain equipment.
• Train and support apprentices and helpers (or, if new, follow direction from supervisors).
• Uphold safety protocols and contribute to a positive site culture.

Qualifications

• Prior waterproofing experience preferred but not required – full training provided.
• Previous construction experience is an asset.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and performing labour-intensive tasks in various weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
