Wedding & Event Sales Coordinator Position Overview

We are looking for a driven and organized sales professional to help clients book our wedding and event venue.

This role includes responding to inquiries, conducting tours, following up with leads, securing contracts, and collecting payments. The ideal candidate is confident communicating with clients, comfortable working toward sales goals, and highly organized.

This is a fast-paced, sales-focused role where responsiveness, follow-through, and client experience matter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries quickly and professionally
  • Schedule and conduct venue tours
  • Qualify leads
  • Follow up consistently to move leads through the sales process
  • Secure signed contracts and collect payments
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline updates
  • Manage multiple leads and deadlines at once
  • Communicate with planning, operations, marketing, and leadership teams
  • Assist with sales reporting and KPI tracking
  • Represent the company and venues professionally
  • Community outreach
  • Attend industry trade shows
  • Identify marketing opportunities
  • Build relationships with the corporate community

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working toward measurable sales goals
  • Able to manage multiple conversations and tasks at once
  • Confident following up and closing business
  • Positive attitude and strong professionalism
  • Comfortable using CRMs, email, calendars, and online systems

Preferred Experience

  • Sales, hospitality, wedding, or event experience preferred
  • CRM or pipeline management experience preferred
  • Customer service and relationship-building skills required

Schedule

Full-time position, typically Wednesday–Sunday. Weekend availability is required during peak seasons.

Compensation

  • Base salary: $35,000–$45,000
  • Commission potential: $20,000+ per year
  • Additional bonus opportunities based on performance

Performance is measured by:

  • Lead response time
  • Conversion rates
  • Booked revenue
  • CRM accuracy
  • Follow-up consistency
  • Client experience
