Weekend Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary
The Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests during breakfast service. This position involves preparing and presenting food items, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess a passion for food safety, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

HOURS ARE 6:30am - 1:30PM

• Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet or dining area with food items and beverages.
• Ensure all food items are presented attractively and are compliant with food safety standards.
• Monitor food levels throughout service and replenish as necessary to ensure freshness.
• Assist guests with their needs, including answering questions about menu items and dietary restrictions.
• Handle cash transactions accurately when required, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables and ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of food items to guests.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Skills

• Strong cash handling skills to manage transactions effectively.
• Experience in catering or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Ability to assist as a dietary aide when needed, accommodating special dietary requests.
• Familiarity with culinary techniques and presentation skills to enhance guest experience.
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to provide help and assistance to guests effectively.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: Up to $13.00 per hour
