Saturday | 9:30am – 6:00pm
At Cater Care, every meal is an opportunity to enhance wellbeing and bring comfort to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated Chef to join our team at Highvale Retirement Village in Glen Waverley, preparing fresh, nutritious meals that support residents' health and wellbeing.

About The Role
As our Weekend Chef, you will:
Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for residents and staff
Assist with bulk meal preparation and daily kitchen operations
Deliver friendly and efficient service
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen
Follow food safety and workplace health standards
Prepare texture-modified meals with care and attention
Skills and Experiences:
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a similar role (aged care experience desirable but not essential)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail
A positive attitude and passion for creating great food
