Join Our Team as a Weekend Chef in Aged Care
Wanneroo, WA
$32 base rate per hour + Super
Part-Time | Saturday & Sunday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Bring your passion for quality food and make a real difference every weekend. As a Weekend Chef at the welcoming Elderbloom Aged Care facility in Wanneroo, you’ll take pride in preparing fresh, consistent meals that provide comfort, enjoyment, and nourishment to our residents.
Working in a central production kitchen, you’ll help deliver meals for approximately 140 residents across three aged care sites. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of weekend service, contribute to a supportive team culture, and see the real impact of your cooking every day.

- Ensure all special dietary requirements are met, including texture-modified (IDDSI) and allergen-aware meals
- Support smooth weekend kitchen operations by working closely with the team
- Maintain strict food safety (HACCP) and hygiene standards at all times
- Oversee weekend stock levels and ensure accurate handover to the weekday team
About You
- Trade qualified in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent), with experience in a high-volume kitchen
- Experience in aged care or large-scale catering is highly regarded
- Strong communicator with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive, proactive attitude with a genuine passion for quality food and resident wellbeing
All applicants must hold a current flu vaccination for the current year and be willing to undertake a National Criminal History Check.
