We are currently seeking an On-Call Nurse for the following shift:
Saturday 8 AM to Monday 8AM - every other weekend.
The On-Call Nurse is responsible for promptly answering and triaging calls from patients or family members, physicians and others. This person will follow established procedures in performing visits if necessary and will initiate communication with the case manager, attending physician or other staff as needed to coordinate optimal care and use of resources for the patient/family, as well as provide appropriate support at time of death and perform bereavement assessment if requested.
Current RN licensure in MA and a minimum of two years’ experience in home care, hospice or oncology required. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide effective support to the patient and family.
