Shift: Weekends (every Saturday OR every Sunday), No Evenings

Daily Dose Pharmacy is a leading provider of pharmaceutical care, committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Weekend Pharmacist to join our team and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) regulations.
• Provide professional consultation to patients regarding medication usage, interactions, and side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapy.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to provincial and federal regulations.
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and assistants in daily operations.
• Monitor and manage inventory, including narcotics and controlled substances.
• Handle emergency medication requests and ensure timely fulfillment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensed Pharmacist in Ontario and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP).
• PharmD or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a community, hospital, or long-term care pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario pharmacy regulations, drug schedules, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed clinical decisions.
• Experience with pharmacy management systems (e.g., Kroll, HealthWatch, or equivalent) is an asset.

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
