Welder / Steel Fabricator/Paint Sprayer– Full-Time, Permanent Positions

Location:
Workshop at Swanns Cross, approx. 7 miles from Monaghan and 10 miles from Cootehill, Ireland.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm

Salary:
Competitive and negotiable, depending on experience.

Annual Leave:
20 days per year.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Steel Fabricator to join our busy workshop team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of fabrication projects, delivering high-quality results in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG/TIG welding and general steel fabrication.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and assemble metal components to precise standards.
• Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely.
• Perform quality checks on finished work to meet project requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of welding/fabrication experience (essential).
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Manual Handling and Safe Pass certification preferred (training can be arranged).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Applicants must be qualified; unqualified candidates will not be considered.
