Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder/Labourer to join our manufacturing and construction team. This role involves performing welding operations, assisting with various labour tasks, and supporting project execution across multiple disciplines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in welding techniques, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on experience with construction and fabrication processes. This position offers opportunities for growth and development within a dynamic work environment.
Duties
- Perform MIG welding on various materials following blueprints, schematics, and safety standards
- Operate plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble components
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure precision in fabrication and assembly
- Assist with rigging, crane operation, and material handling to support construction or manufacturing projects
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly tasks
- Support machining operations including using hand tools and basic math skills for measurements and adjustments
- Conduct welding structural components, or other assemblies as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices
- Be able to do physical work an able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Welding experience is a plus but not required. I'm willing to train the right individual.

Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG welding, plasma cutting, and blueprint reading
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing or construction environments
- Ability to operate cranes, power tools, hand tools, and forklifts safely
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
- Knowledge of rigging procedures and crane operation is preferred
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to welding, fabrication, and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
