We are now seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to join our Trailer Shop Welding team.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday - 6:30 am - 3:00 pm (5 - eight hour shifts)

Responsibilities of the Job:

Including, but not limited to the following:

1. Lead/mentor personnel in the General Welding area in away that brings out the best in them.

2. Organize the General Welding area for flow to complete production to meet due date.

3. Coordinate with other departments (such as QC, Design, Prefab, U-Drain, Paint, Assembly) to met due dates

4. Quality Control (product completeness)

5. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a welding supervisor in a manufacturing environment
• MIG welding experience is an asset
• Can read and follow blueprints
• Ability to set temperature and wire speed
• Ability to handle varied welding tasks, as well as repetitive processes
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Troubleshooting skills
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing (English)
• Reliable transportation to and from work daily, while ensuring to be punctual
• Welding Helmet and Steel-toed safety boots are required
• Ability to work within a welding / manufacturing environment for 8 hours a day
• Willingness to work Overtime if available
