Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Supervisor/Manager

Location: Home-based- 3-4 days required in person, Hurricane office (Statewide travel required)

The Mission West Virginia Wendy’s Wonderful Kids (WWK) program uses an evidence-based, child-focused recruitment model to find permanent families for youth in care. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor/Manager to oversee the WWK recruiters and ensure the program's success.

Job Description

As the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Supervisor/Manager, you will oversee the efforts of WWK recruiters to implement the child-focused recruitment model, with a focus on achieving legal permanency for youth through guardianship or adoption. You will hire, train, and supervise program staff while ensuring fidelity to the recruitment model and program compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Program/Staff Supervision

  • Supervise WWK recruiters to ensure adherence to the child-focused recruitment model.
  • Hire, train, and retain program staff.
  • Manage recruiters’ workloads, ensuring caseloads of 12-15 active cases per recruiter.
  • Monitor case records and file compliance.
  • Review and validate monthly data submissions in the program database.
  • Support recruiters in achieving legal permanency outcomes for youth.
  • Conduct monthly contact with recruiters to track progress and provide guidance.

Program Management

  • Oversee and submit bi-annual reports and annual re-applications.
  • Collaborate with local and state Departments of Human Services (DoHS) to align with program goals.
  • Educate child welfare staff about the WWK program to ensure referrals and model compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field. Licensed social worker strongly preferred.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in child welfare.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
  • Statewide travel required, including occasional national and overnight travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 per year
