WHAT WE NEED:

The Wet Mills Batcher will be responsible for operating the daily equipment in the department by assisting with set up and operation of equipment, mixing/blending ingredients used in the food process, and communication amongst the team.

JOB DUTIES

·Notify Supervisors or Leads of equipment malfunctions

·Set up, operate, and tend equipment that cooks, mixes, blends, or processes ingredients in the manufacturing of food products, according to formulas or recipes

·Start machines, monitor operation, shut down machines, and adjust as needed

·Inspect machinery to determine whether repairs are needed

·Record production and test data for each food product batch, such as ingredients used, temperature, test results, and time cycle

·Move full pallets out of department to store in inventory

·Sanitation, cleaning, clean up in department

·Other tasks/duties as needed

Other Skills/Abilities

-At least 2 years of food manufacturing experience or operator experience

- Ability to effectively demonstrate problem solving tactics.

-Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with management and members of the cross-functional team.

-Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

-Ability to treat employees/co-workers ethically and fairly must be demonstrated.

-Ability to work independently to organize and prioritize organizational requirements as required by management.

-Ability to lift between 20lbs-60lbs of ingredients
