Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Loader Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, to facilitate various gravel crushing projects. The Loader Operator will ensure that all tasks are performed safely and efficiently while adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as loaders.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles using appropriate equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to execute project plans effectively and safely.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize risks associated with heavy equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress.
• Assist in crusher maintenance and repairs as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in loader operation with a strong understanding of heavy equipment mechanics.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery operation is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while following instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in all operations.

Qualifications

• Class 5 Licence
• WHMIS Certification
• CSTS

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 9-10 months

Pay: $32.00-$34.00 per hour

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Loader operation: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-07-03
