We are currently looking for one full-time Wholesale Coordinator & Packer. This position needs to be filled urgently with a projected start at the beginning of November. Only people with at least one year customer service experience in the food industry need apply.
Tell me about the job:
Wholesale Coordinator & Packer
The Coordinator is responsible for managing and handling orders received via the website and wholesale orders;
The Coordinator must work with the Head Baker to coordinate times for production of items ordered via online systems and/or wholesale orders;
The Coordinator must prepare and package items requested for online orders and wholesale orders;
The Coordinator is responsible for submitting delivery requests in a timely manner with the third-party delivery service contracted by the firm. Should the delivery service be unable to deliver orders, the Coordinator must coordinate with Upper Managements for delivery alternatives;
The Coordinator must pay attention to detail and include best before dates, the right count of item ordered, ensure items in transport are protected (e.g., transport boxes should be closed at the bottom to ensure items do not fall), etc. when packaging wholesale orders and online orders;
The Coordinator is responsible for taking requests and questions from wholesale clients and checking-in regularly about product satisfaction;
The Coordinator is responsible for notifying wholesale partners of new product developments and provide samples of such products;
The Coordinator is to perform duties related to their position as assigned to them by higher ups.
Brand Ambassador
The Ambassador must memorize and know the lineup of permanent and seasonal products offered in our storefront and online;
Ambassadors are responsible for aiding in inventory counting when requested by the Customer Service Supervisor and/or Alternate Shift Supervisor;
The Ambassador must be familiar with the brand and the mission of the firm;
The Ambassador must greet and welcome customers when upon entering the storefront;
Brand Ambassadors are responsible for serving and packing food for clients who wish to dine-in or takeout;
Ambassadors are responsible for learning to use and working the POS supplied by management;
The Ambassador is responsible for consistently maintaining a clean work environment at the front end (where the café and bakery case is), the dishwashing area, staff/storage room area, etc.; and
The Ambassador is responsible for handling money correctly during opening.
Who you are:
You are passionate about the vegan/plant-based lifestyle or are open to learning about it;
you have one year or more within the customer service industry;
about to work Tuesdays to Fridays from 7:30am-3:30pm and Saturdays from 7:00am-3:00pm;
approachable and able to create genuine moments with customers;
willing to learn about what it is we do;
you’re a team player and are able to collaborate with kitchen staff, front house staff, and management;
an outside-of-the-box thinker and always looking for new ways to solve problems and think of new product ideas; and
you go above and beyond for your customers
Having an unexpired ProServe License is considered an asset
This job has a range of hours between 30 to 38 hours per week depending on the influx of wholesale, online, and holiday orders. Should the Wholesale Coordinator finish their tasks on time, they may clock out before the end of their shift.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
