You’re confident working with operational teams and know how to translate legislation into practical, workable solutions. You’ll bring:
- Cert IV WHS (minimum) (or higher) and advisory-level experience
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, risk management and consultation requirements
- Experience with audits/inspections/investigations and WHS systems/documentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to coach, influence and build trust
- Strong admin/reporting capability (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and engage stakeholders across sites
- Warehousing/distribution/manufacturing safety experience (desirable)
Key responsibilities
- Provide WHS coaching and guidance to leaders and frontline teams; promote a proactive safety culture
- Support WHS Committee and HSRs to ensure effective consultation and role clarity
- Lead audits, inspections, hazard identification, incident investigations and corrective action tracking
- Maintain SDS currency and support safe DG storage/handling/transport compliance
- Coordinate WorkCover claims and RTW plans; track trends and recommend prevention strategies
- Develop/maintain an annual WHS audit & inspection plan and contribute regular reporting
- Support training needs analysis, inductions, toolbox talks, WHS communications and wellbeing initiatives
- Employee Assistance Program - support and assistance for you and your partner at those times in life when you need it most.
- Access to exclusive discounts through our employee benefits platform.
- A diverse team that's committed to creating an inclusive environment for everyone.
- Dental reimbursement scheme for permanent employees – claim up to $200 dollars a year for preventative dental.
