What You’ll Do
Job Description Summary
Loan Processing Intern role is part of a fast paced team which is responsible for processing contracts and additional premium (AP) while ensuring that established service level agreements are maintained. The Intern will also be assigned with administrative tasks and assist in the Operations department as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process contracts within established service guidelines
  • Review completeness of requirements
  • Review accuracy of information
  • Data input into Enhanced system
  • Convert contracts
  • Process AP following the service guidelines
  • Generate AP quote based on broker request
  • Convert AP quote
  • Notify broker about the processed AP
  • Conduct appropriate follow up with brokers via outbound calling and email to confirm information and get documents when required.
  • Coordinate with Inside Sales team regarding any relationship issues with our broker
  • Adhere to approved processed and audit requirements
  • Provide support and assist other team members as required
  • Perform job related duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous financial processing and/or administration experience
  • Strong organizational, prioritization and abstract reasoning skills
  • A proactive, energetic and enthusiastic approach to your work, and a desire to go the extra mile in customer service
  • Self-motivation and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to build strong relationships with team members and internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational, and abstract reasoning skills
  • Ability to multitask in a high volume environment
  • A flexible attitude towards change and the ability to adapt to new situations
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Excel and MS Word
  • French is an asset
Training/ Education/ Experience Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Administrative duties practices and procedures
  • Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office software
