Work In Norway (Smøla) - Disabled Person's Assistant

JOB AVAILABLE FROM JANUARY 2025.

The Norwegian company "Medvind Assistanse" is looking for people at least 23 years of age for the position of assistant to a disabled person in a shift system with an employment contract on the island of Smøla in Norway.

The person for whom we are looking for assistants is a man in his 60s. He lives alone at home. He has Multiple Sclerosis, so he moves in a wheelchair and needs friendly assistants who will help him with all his daily activities. The job also includes personal hygiene, so candidates must feel comfortable about it. This is a man who, before getting sick, liked being outdoors, both for work and for pleasure. He loves spending time on his boat. Assistants must be willing to help with everyday activities, such as gardening, snow removal, etc.

Work only for people within the European Union (we are not able to provide a work visa outside the EU). Previous professional experience in a similar position is not required. The company provides full training in this area. We are looking for responsible, friendly, open-minded candidates willing to cooperate for at least 6 months or preferably a year. Possibility of starting work no earlier than JANUARY 2025.

The average monthly salary is from 31,000 to 40,000 NOK. The company sponsors transportation to Norway and the first month of accommodation, after which candidates must rent a room at their own expense (next to our client there is a house with rooms for rent, which are rented by assistants).

- Driving license category B

- Good knowledge of English or Norwegian (min. B2 level)

- Certificate of no criminal record
