Workday Tester

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Tester with strong hands-on experience in Workday Financials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing test cases to ensure high-quality Workday implementations and releases. While Workday certification is an advantage, candidates with deep functional and testing experience in Workday Financials will also be considered.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases for Workday Financials modules (e.g., Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Order to Cash, Expenses, Banking, and Projects).
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Validate business processes, integrations, reports, and configurations within Workday Financials.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects using established tools and processes.
• Support end-user testing activities, including UAT planning and execution.
• Ensure testing aligns with business objectives, project timelines, and release schedules.
• Participate in testing of Workday updates and new releases to assess impact on existing configurations and processes.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience as a Workday Tester or Functional Analyst with a focus on Workday Financials.
• Strong understanding of core financial processes (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Banking, Assets, and Projects).
• Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation and using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, or Zephyr).
• Knowledge of Workday integrations and report testing.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
