Job purpose: Direct the daily activities of the paint crew instruct and teach proper techniques of our trade, plan daily and weekly materials required for jobs. Act as company representative in communications between management, employees, and customers.

• Be capable of performing all aspects of Industrial painting, needle gunning and sand blasting, Airless and conventional spraying. Working with other employees as part of a team, be prompt and on time daily for work.
• Monitor and log starting, breaks, lunch and end of shift times and to complete all daily required paperwork that needs to be turned into the office.
• Monitor the safety of all employees and work area and create an understanding of safety guidelines and the proper use of all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and be a mentor to our employees to teach proper surface preparation, quality, safety, equipment cleaning, and maintenance and productivity standards.
• Enforce company policies; ensure proper housekeeping on job sites, gang boxes and job trailers and plan ahead for sundries and materials to limit trips to the shop or off the job site.
• Oversee and instruct employees in such a way to minimize scrap or rework and work to continually improve quality level.
• Follow all company safety rules as laid out in the company safety manual and all other company policies.
• Maintain company equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Must be able to travel; overnight at times and have a valid driver’s license.
• Continually strive to improve in all aspects of job requirements.
• Communicate with the office or management for employee problems, injuries, call-ins or general contractor / customer requests.

Be able to lift a maximum of 100 lbs. at times as required by job. Required to pass drug tests and certain health requirements for respirator use.
