Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Focus on the future: Support the test development of silicon MEMS microphones
• Reliable work: Build and release test-setups
• Take responsibility: Build and rework test-hardware
• Shape the future: Support the operation of the labs (i.e. documentations, 5S…)
• Teamwork is dreamwork: Support the engineers with daily tasks

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Study Field: Studying Microelectronics, Microsystems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar field
• Experience: Already have practical laboratory experience (e.g. soldering) through previous internships or your studies
• Skills: Previous experience working with MATLAB is a plus
• Personality: Hands on-mentality working closely with and within mechanical workshops (e.g. assembly, drilling)
• Way of working: Ability to analyze and solve problems with great affinity for technical topics. Work proactively with excellent interpersonal skills
• Language skills: Fluent in German or English

Important information:

• Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
• Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
• You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
