The Position

You will be responsible for building strong relationships across all levels of the business to ensure compliance and promote an environment where every individual is an active participant in health, safety, and environment initiatives.

The role will provide expert Workplace Health, Safety & Environment support to multiple sites at a local level, while collaborating with a nationally connected WHS team.

You will provide hands-on support to manage physical and psychosocial risks, ensure compliance, build capability, and elevate safety performance across the two sites.

About the Role:
You're a hands-on workplace health & safety partner who thrives on collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and setting high standards. In return, you'll join a respected national brand committed to protecting and empowering its people.

Working closely with site leaders, you'll:
Lead safety initiatives that keep teams healthy, engaged, and compliant
Ensure compliance with Levett Engineering and Rosebank Engineering Workplace Health Safety Management Systems, legislation, and insurance requirements
Coach leaders, investigate incidents, and deliver impactful training
Provide expert WHS advice across the business to support our compliance and continuous improvement efforts.
Coordinate, plan, record and execute health and safety initiatives across our operations.
Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, inspections, and investigations.
Drive incident reporting, root cause analysis, and preventative actions.
Lead the development and review of WHS systems, policies, and procedures.

Skills and Experiences:
You will have a Certificate IV in WHS, be a strong communicator, with a team first mindset.

Experience with ISO 45001, 55001, and other business management systems for ISO accreditation including management of auditing and systems at a national level, is preferred.

This position will require a police check and pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening to be undertaken during the recruitment process.
