Supply Area North is the regional home for co-workers from different Business Units and Functions within Supply. With approximately 1400 co-workers in 6 offices (Älmhult, Malmö, Dortmund, and Kaunas) it is an inspirational environment with people and business in focus.
We are now recruiting for a new opportunity as Workplace Operations Manager for IKEA Supply Services (Sweden) AB / Supply Area north, that will report to Emma Keith, Business Navigation Finance Administration Manager.
Job description
In the role as Workplace Operations Manager, you will lead the Workplace Operation agenda for Supply Area North. You will be responsible to secure a consistent, safe and inspiring workplace in the operations of the Supply Area North´s six office locations situated in Sweden, Germany and Lithuania. You will secure the execution of global frameworks and pre-conditions set by the Global Supply Workplace Operations matrix.
What about the team? You will lead a team with Workplace Operations Leaders, Workplace Operations Generalists, Business Administrators and IT Partners in three countries. You will be a member of the Legal Unit management team for IKEA Supply Services (Sweden) AB and be part of the Global Workplace Operations Matrix which means working in a dynamic global environment. In this assignment, you will play a key role in leading and developing competence, grounded in our IKEA culture & values, where you will motivate, inspire and develop your co-workers. You will collaborate with many stakeholders across the IKEA value-chain and by this, build strong relationships and find better ways forward – together.
This role will also include, but not be limited to:
Secure execution of below areas according to the global frameworks set by Global Workplace Operations Matrix in order to provide inspiring, inclusive and safe office environment for all the co-workers located in the Supply Area North office locations.
Events in all sites according to Supply and People & Culture calendar
Compliant office and administrative operations
IT support (on site & service management)
Operational Safety & Security
Operational supplier management (Vendor and contract management)
Workplace maintenance and development

Qualification
Are you our next Supply Area North Workplace Operations Manager? To be successful in this role we see that you are a senior leader with several years of experience from leading people and you are able to create togetherness across countries through remote leadership. You feel inspired and motivated to lead and develop business and people together and have a strong desire to move our Workplace Operations agenda forward. With your extensive experience working with people, we see that you demonstrate strong leadership capabilities with a strong people focus and a foundation in both living and sharing the IKEA culture and values.
Additionally, you have:
Good knowledge of the IKEA strategic landscape and the IKEA Business model.
Strong in stakeholder management, demonstrating the ability to build trustful relations and interest in finding win-win solutions
Proven ability with leading in change and organizational development.
Ability to lead business with a holistic view. Always act with the customer, co-worker, business partners and total IKEA interests in mind.
