We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Fitter to join our skilled workshop team based in Wacol.

Duties include

  • Performing modifications and installations for new or used vehicle loading cranes and hook loaders
  • Assembly and disassembly of vehicle loading cranes and hookloader
  • Assembly of RHS subframes in line with engineering specification
  • Assisting other workshop installation fitters with new crane or hookloader installs
  • Completion of all quality and process control documentation
  • Installation of ancillary electrical, mechanical and or hydraulic components associated with pre delivery inspections or installations

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Hydraulic skills from either the light auto or heavy diesel Industry, to work with innovative products and with a leader in the industry.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Trade qualifications within the mechanical or engineering related disciplines.
  • Experience in the manufacturing of transport equipment including trailers and/or in the truck or similar industry.
  • Experience with hydraulics a distinct advantage.
  • Competent with general Windows based PC environment, Word, Excel, Tiikr, Smartsheet and an ERP system.
  • Good communication skills written and oral at various levels in an organisation
