World Kitchen Parkstad Plaza Kerkrade is looking for you!

For this unique location in Kerkrade, opposite the Parkstad Limburg Stadium, we are looking for 4 independent chefs to strengthen our kitchen team. We offer you a professional working environment with a good atmosphere, combined with our trendy concept.

What will you bring as a cook?

• Your tasks include performing preparatory work such as washing vegetables, cutting and filleting salmon, and cutting lamb chops and beef for preparing various dishes, working in a kitchen team of approximately 10 colleagues led by the head chef.
• Preparing and cooking dishes and carrying out interim quality and hygiene checks.
• Preparing and checking dishes before service, after which the service staff will take over for placement on the heated serving dishes.
• Planning daily activities and ordering food supplies and other stock replenishments from regular suppliers and checking delivered products.
• Supervising the work of kitchen assistants, giving directions and instructions.
• Cleaning your own workspace, kitchen equipment, and machines daily before closing, and assisting kitchen staff with cleaning the entire kitchen and storing delivered goods.
• A good team player with a flexible attitude and good communication skills.
• Contributing to quality, optimization, and adjustment of menus, and developing recipes and preparation instructions.
• Job requirements: MBO level 3 or equivalent education, with knowledge of basic cooking techniques.

What do you get in return?

• A gross salary between €2600 – €3100 based on a 38-hour work week according to the Dutch Hospitality CAO, with 25 vacation days and 8% holiday allowance.
