Worship Leader
  • Recruit, Train, Lead & Develop leaders using the leadership development program to invest into the next generation of worship leaders including the Fuse Worship Leader Intern.
  • Shepherd, train, lead, and develop volunteers in skill and in their relationship with Jesus.
  • Lead worship for campus gatherings and events, and uphold both musical and cultural excellence with the Sunday & Wednesday bands.
  • Schedule band for Sunday/Fuse gatherings and where worship is needed at special events 4 weeks in advance of the gathering.
  • Ensure notes are communicated weekly to the band. This includes band parts, verbal communication for transitions and vision for songs and elements.
  • Ensure charts/lead sheets are prepared and make sure Ableton Sessions are downloaded and prepared for rehearsal/Sunday/Fuse.
  • Create Planning Center Online flows for Sunday/Fuse gatherings minimum 4 weeks prior to the date.
  • Evaluate Sunday/Fuse gatherings and provide feedback to musicians/vocalists where needed and hold them accountable to our worship Missions, Pillars and Standards (MPS).
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with the worship team members at the campus through regular
  • 1:1 connections, and work to make sure they are properly prepared for each campus gathering.
  • Communicate with your Campus Pastor and the Ministry Support Worship Team to understand the vision and goals needed to carry out our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening gatherings and any special events.
  • Maintain accurate volunteer roster and attendance records in Rock.
  • Assist the production team where needed for set changes and moving gear around the stage as needed throughout the year.
  • Participate & engage in Campus meetings and Worship Support Meetings.
  • Develop a Lead Team to help you with the above.
  • Do whatever it takes to help the church reach its mission to see everyone, everywhere in an everyday relationship. Occasionally this will mean performing duties and tasks outside of your normal job responsibilities.
  • Uphold Biblical priorities in life, in the order outline below:
    • Growing personal relationship with Jesus
    • Relationship with spouse (if married)
    • Relationship with children (if applicable)
    • Purpose in life/ministry
  • Develop personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church.
  • Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.
  • Financially support the vision of NewSpring Church by faithfully giving at least 10% of gross income.
