Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Texas Healthcare Solutions. In this role, you will provide specialized wound care management to patients in their homes, ensuring optimal healing and recovery. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' wounds and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer wound care treatments according to established protocols and best practices.
• Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques and infection prevention.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in medical records.

Requirements

• Current nursing license in the state of Texas.
• Certification in wound care required.
• Strong diagnostic evaluation skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
• Excellent patient assessment abilities and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
