Briarcliff Health Center in Tyler, Tx is looking for a Wound Nurse to join their team!
Wound Nurse Responsibilities:
- Follow and update care plans in accordance with patient's needs.
- Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, update orders, wound care, treatments, and procedures as directed by the DON.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the Unit Manager and notify MD on a weekly basis and families.
- Follow up and properly document physicians' orders.
- Perform assessments/evaluations as necessary.
- Accurately document observations and evaluations pertaining to the resident's care management and services provided.
- Attend weekly weight and wound meetings.
Qualifications for Wound Care Nurse:
- A current license as a RN / LVN in TX
- A certification as a wound care nurse is preferred
- A minimum of one year of recent wound nurse experience is required
Job Type: Part-time
Experience:
- Wound care nurse certification: 1 year (Preferred)
- Recent wound care nurse: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- RN/LVN License (Required)
Work Location: In person
