Briarcliff Health Center in Tyler, Tx is looking for a Wound Nurse to join their team!

Wound Nurse Responsibilities:

• Follow and update care plans in accordance with patient's needs.
• Perform assigned duties, including administration of medication, update orders, wound care, treatments, and procedures as directed by the DON.
• Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the Unit Manager and notify MD on a weekly basis and families.
• Follow up and properly document physicians' orders.
• Perform assessments/evaluations as necessary.
• Accurately document observations and evaluations pertaining to the resident's care management and services provided.
• Attend weekly weight and wound meetings.

Qualifications for Wound Care Nurse:

• A current license as a RN / LVN in TX
• A certification as a wound care nurse is preferred
• A minimum of one year of recent wound nurse experience is required

Job Type: Part-time

Experience:

• Wound care nurse certification: 1 year (Preferred)
• Recent wound care nurse: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• RN/LVN License (Required)
