Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Specialist to support students in a dynamic learning environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized educational plans for students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or in special education programs
• Assist in classroom management and facilitate engaging lessons tailored to students' learning styles
• Provide tutoring support in subjects such as math, reading, and writing to enhance student understanding and performance
• Utilize Microsoft Office and other computer skills to prepare instructional materials and track student progress
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience
• Support early childhood education initiatives by creating age-appropriate activities that promote social and cognitive development
• Manage time efficiently to balance multiple responsibilities, ensuring timely completion of lesson plans and documentation
• Adapt teaching strategies for working with children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities or special needs
• Maintain organized records of student assessments, progress reports, and educational plans

Experience

• Prior classroom experience or working with children is preferred; experience in special education or early childhood education is a plus
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable; strong communication skills are essential
• Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for lesson planning and record keeping
• Experience in tutoring or providing individualized instruction across various subjects such as math or writing
• Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
