Yard Supervisor - Building Products

Reporting to the Trade Manager you will be responsible for managing the Yard Drive-Thru and the Yard Team and maximizing the efficient operation of this area through delivering great team leadership, merchandising, stock control and customer service. The key departments include, Timber, Building Supplies and Hardware.

This will see you taking accountability for:

• Ensuring customers are the number one priority, receiving the high standard of service they deserve.
• Promoting a team culture that encourages a positive and safe working environment.
• Taking on responsibility for drive-thru stock management, displays, point-of-sale and general standards within your departments.
• Overseeing the dispatch process and picking and packing of customer orders.
• Contributing to the overall success of the store, actively supporting loss prevention initiatives and processes.

We are looking for people who have:

• Timber and Building Supplies Product Knowledge.
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide direction and leadership.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to think ahead and offer innovative solutions.
• A passion for customer service excellence.
• General computer skills; and
• Ability to manage a varied and busy workload.
• Forklift licence is a plus

Merchandising and solid product knowledge relevant to these departments is important.
