We currently have an full-time opportunity for a passionate individual to join our team as Youth Advisor in our Ipswich office.


The Role - A Day in the Life of a Youth Advisor

As a Youth Advisor you will provide intensive, pre-employment support to improve the work readiness of young people and to help them into work or education. This role has a strong focus on helping young people to understand what is expected in the workplace and to develop the skills, attitudes and behaviours expected by employers. This will be achieved by group facilitation and one on one case management. This role focusses primarily on one-to-one support to participants.


Your Key Responsibilities will include;

  • Providing high level personalised support and service to our customers
  • Actively promoting ETC’s services to local industry, employers and jobseekers
  • Providing support to participants, employers and education providers to convert job and education placements into sustainable outcomes
  • Achieve agreed objectives and targets
  • Working with TtW Recruitment Advisors, facilitate connections between young people and employers, educational institutions and community organisations to achieve employment, education, training and work experience placements

Criteria for Success

  • Customer service skills and/or experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • Ability to meet monthly KPI targets
  • A passion for helping others
  • A recent, clear National Police Check
  • A current Working With Children Check / QLD Blue Card
