- Part Time Contract 34.2hrs pw = 9 day fortnight or flexibility to fit to school hours
- Location: Garramilla (Palmerston) NT 0830

- Use your knowledge of current youth challenges to connect and engage with young people building relationships built on honesty and trust
- Work closely with the participants to build and implement an appropriate job plan that identifies their goals and desires
- Maintain detailed case notes and meet administrative KPIs to ensure program success.
- Conduct assessments to determine any barriers to employment
- Provide thorough, individual pre-employment support
- Create and facilitate activities and learning experiences that build confidence and independence.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external service providers to assist with suitable opportunities for the participants
- Shortlisting for vacancies, scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks
- Promote social activities, career exploration, and industry tours, helping young people discover their passions and potential career paths
- Post placement support for the first 26 weeks of employment or education
- Significant background in Employment Services, Social Services, Social Welfare and/or Youth sectors
- Tertiary qualified or Diploma in a relevant field desired
- Experience in Youth Services, Jobactive Services or case management would be desirable
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to tailor communication appropriate to the audience
- Ability to engage and provide support to young people experiencing risk factors in their life This will require perseverance, flexibility, and innovation.
- Demonstrated professional approach to maintaining professional boundaries
- Strong administration skill and report-writing ability
- Comfortable working to deadlines and able to handle multiple competing priorities
- First Aid & CPR Certificate is desired but not required.
