Overview:
NIGHT WATCH MENTOR - STABLIZATION AND ASSESSMENT PROGRAM
Pay: $18 to $20 per hour, depending on experience. $18.25 starting hourly rate with a bachelor’s degree. $18.50 starting hourly rate with a master’s degree. CNA Certified adds $1 on top of starting pay up to $20 once the starting pay is determined from previous experience and education.

Embark at Hurricane - Stabilization and Assessment is a residential treatment center dedicated to highly acute adolescent males and their families. We offer a nurturing, homely atmosphere where we provide residential treatment and an environment where students receive around-the-clock secure care and intensive support. Our expertise lies in addressing complex issues such as traumatic stress, family dynamics, relationship challenges, mental health concerns, and more, all with a focus on family-centered healing.
Your work shift is centered around nurturing, guiding, and supporting adolescents in our care. You become a beacon of support for their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Spending quality time with the clients allows you to cultivate strong and meaningful staff-client relationships. These connections are essential as they play a pivotal role in the progress and development of each student within our program. Your time is largely spent engaging in various activities with the clients while they stabilize or get ready for their next program. Amidst these exciting activities, your role is to ensure the safety and well-being of adolescents in our care, promoting an environment of trust and personal growth.

Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities are both diverse and impactful:
- Minor Food Prep: Contribute to meal preparation while promoting healthy eating habits.
- Group Participation: Attend and engage in group sessions with clients, fostering a sense of community.
- Safety First: Maintain a safe environment, ensuring the well-being of our clients.
- Boundary Maintenance: Uphold professional boundaries while building trust and rapport.
- Therapeutic Support: Collaborate with therapists to implement interventions aligned with each client's treatment plan.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years old or older
- Current driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to pass a Utah State background check
- Must be willing to make an 8-month minimum commitment
- Willing to get Food Handlers Permit before first day of work
