Job Title: Full-Time Zoning Inspector

Job Summary:
Newbury Township is seeking a motivated and qualified individual to fill the role of Zoning Inspector. This full-time position involves ensuring compliance with the Township’s zoning resolutions, working directly with the public, and participating in zoning-related meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce and interpret Newbury Township zoning resolutions.
• Conduct site visits and inspections within the Township.
• Communicate effectively with residents, property owners, and contractors.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
• Attend evening meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• General knowledge of zoning regulations and compliance procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and standard office software.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Availability to travel within the Township during the day and attend evening meetings.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: Commensurate with experience.
