Precision Wire Technologies (PWT) is looking for a motivated and dependable 1st Shift Production Associate to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly by supporting productivity, quality, and safety across our processes.
You’ll begin with hands-on training in our Processing department, with opportunities to expand your skills and cross-train in areas such as Drawing, Respool, and Annealing as you grow with us. Job Highlights
- Job Title: 1st Shift Production Associate
- Type of Job: Non-exempt, hourly, full-time
- Hourly Rate: $18 - $22/hr
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor equipment to ensure maximum uptime and product quality.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and coordinate with maintenance when needed.
- Inspect and test product to meet and exceed customer quality standards.
- Support production efficiency and meet schedule targets set by the Supervisor.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards.
- Contribute to improvement projects and additional tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and be authorized to work in the U.S.
- The ability to FREQUENTLY lift 50lbs, an estimated few times per shift. The ability to handle physically demanding work.
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems preferred but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude with proven success in a hands-on, production, or technical role.

- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
- Dependable with a positive attitude.
Physical Demands
Regular standing, walking, and use of hands for operating machinery and handling materials. Frequent lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 80 lbs.
Expected Hours of Work
First Shift: (7:00 am – 5:00 pm, Mon–Thu).
Overtime may be required as business needs demand.
