Key Responsibilities
- Design 3D models of injection molds for plastic bathroom fittings using Siemens NX.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and technical documentation for manufacturing.
- Work closely with the tool room and production teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of designs.
- Optimize mold designs for durability, precision, and efficient cycle time.
- Assist in design modifications and improvements based on testing and production feedback.
- Maintain design files, revision history, and ensure design standards are met.
- Collaborate with R&D team for new product development.
- Support troubleshooting of molds during trials and production.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die / Production Engineering or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in mold design for plastic injection molding (preferably in bathroom fittings or related industries).
- Strong command of Siemens NX (Unigraphics) for 3D & 2D mold design.
- Knowledge of mold components, cooling channels, gating systems, and ejector mechanisms.
- Understanding of plastic materials, shrinkage, and mold flow basics.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and detail orientation skills.
Preferred Skills (Optional but Advantageous)
- Exposure to Mold Flow Analysis software.
- Knowledge of CNC programming / CAM integration.
- Hands-on exposure to tool room operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
