About the Role
We are excited to be able to appoint to the ACC Administrator position at Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora, Te Matau a Māui – Hawkes Bay. The successful candidate will perform various administrative activities supporting timely and accurate processing of ACC eligible patients as they flow through the hospital systems.
About the Team/Service/ Location
While it may be a back-office role, it is diverse, and you will make a significant contribution in the timely support of injured patients, and ensure the right funding is received for the District. You will be working with a small team for 24 hours per week, based at our Hastings site. Hours and days of work can be negotiated.

About you
You would ideally have experience working in a Health Sector environment, have a passion for data quality, love documentation, and be proactive. Experience in patient management systems would be advantageous. If you have a flexible can-do attitude, good attention to detail, and great organisational skills this is the role for you.
You will also need the following key attributes and skills:
- Experience working in an administration role (essential)
- Experience in a Health Sector environment (ideal)
- Good attention to detail and accuracy (essential)
- Good organisation skills (essential)
- Highly competent with Microsoft Office suite (essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound customer service skills, including with challenging situations
