About the Opportunity

At Genomenon, we are accelerating genetic discovery and transforming how clinicians, laboratories, and life sciences organizations access and apply genomic knowledge. We are seeking a driven Clinical Account Executive to be a key contributor to our growing commercial team and help achieve our revenue growth goals across Genomenon’s clinical solutions (Mastermind; CKB; Clinical Services). This role is ideal for a sales-savvy, highly energetic professional with experience selling bioinformatics, next-generation sequencing (NGS), and clinical decision support solutions into clinical laboratory environments.

This is a full-cycle sales position responsible for outbound prospecting, closing new business, and expanding existing customer relationships. The primary market focus is clinical genetics testing laboratories within hospital systems, academic medical centers, and commercial diagnostic organizations.

As a Clinical Account Executive, you will own a defined territory and portfolio of accounts, generate new opportunities, and build long-term partnerships with key stakeholders across the clinical diagnostics and precision medicine landscape. You will play a critical role in bringing both CKB’s oncology-focused knowledgebase and Genomenon’s broader genomic intelligence solutions to customers who rely on trusted variant interpretation and clinical insights.

You will work closely with internal teams, Customer Success, and channel partners to drive consistent performance across both new customer acquisition and account growth.

Position Responsibilities

  • Execute full-cycle sales efforts, including outbound prospecting, opportunity development, deal execution, and account expansion
  • Own and grow assigned accounts while actively identifying and closing net-new customers
  • Drive adoption of Genomenon’s genomic intelligence solutions within clinical laboratory and precision medicine teams
  • Build, manage, and close a robust sales pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
  • Create and execute account and territory strategies that balance new customer acquisition with long-term account growth
  • Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company growth objectives
  • Support and collaborate with channel partners to generate new opportunities and expand existing relationships
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and maintain clear visibility into pipeline health
  • Track and manage the sales process through all stages in the CRM (ideally Salesforce), ensuring consistent reporting and performance metrics
  • Represent Genomenon at conferences, industry events, and corporate meetings as needed
  • Contribute to broader company initiatives in support of Genomenon’s mission

About You

You are a high-performing, motivated sales professional who thrives on making an impact in an entrepreneurial environment. You are equally comfortable opening doors with new prospects and deepening value within existing customer relationships.

You bring a strong understanding of genomics, precision medicine, and clinical lab customer needs, along with a disciplined approach to pipeline management. You are passionate about helping customers solve meaningful problems in genetic and oncology testing, variant interpretation, and clinical decision-making.

You take ownership of your goals, bring energy and optimism to your work, and are excited to help build something impactful from the ground up.

Skills and Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience selling bioinformatics and/or NGS solutions to clinical laboratories
  • Experience selling into precision oncology, variant interpretation, or clinical decision support is a strong plus
  • Demonstrated success in both new business development and account growth, with consistent quota achievement and overperformance
  • Strong experience building, managing, and forecasting sales pipelines using a CRM system (ideally Salesforce)
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic account and territory plans
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
  • Desire to contribute to a high-energy, mission-driven startup environment

Our Company

Genomenon is an AI-driven biomedical intelligence company on a mission to save and improve lives by making biomedical information actionable. Rare diseases and cancer affect more than 30 million people in the U.S. alone and hundreds of millions globally, yet most patients still face long diagnostic journeys and limited treatment options. Our goal is clear and ambitious: to deliver the information that shapes diagnosis and treatment for every rare disease and cancer patient.

We sit at the intersection of AI, genomics, and real world evidence. Genomenon transforms the global scientific literature into a literature derived, real world evidence (RWE) engine for precision medicine—combining large-scale AI with expert human curation to deliver clean, clinically actionable datasets. This approach fills critical gaps left by EHR and claims data, especially in rare disease and oncology, by showing how patients actually present, progress, and respond to therapy.

We turn vast, complex biomedical data—spanning genomics, clinical evidence, and scientific literature—into trusted intelligence that helps clinicians make better diagnostic and therapeutic decisions, and supports life sciences organizations in bringing better therapies to market faster.

Our work has real, measurable impact. Genomenon’s platforms and services are used by more than 250 clinical laboratories and pharma organizations worldwide to support diagnostic interpretation, variant curation, and evidence-based decision-making across the drug development lifecycle.

Each year, our technology helps inform care for tens of thousands of patients facing rare, complex, and time-sensitive conditions—reducing uncertainty and delivering answers when they matter most.

What makes Genomenon unique is our ability to support both clinical diagnostics and pharmaceutical innovation on a shared foundation of advanced AI, deep domain expertise, and rigorously curated data.

  • In the clinic, our solutions directly influence real world patient outcomes.
  • In pharma, we enable teams to harness literature derived RWE across clinical trial development, regulatory, and commercial workflows—turning fragmented biomedical knowledge into a strategic asset and emerging as the trusted data layer for genomic diagnostics and precision therapeutics.

If you’re motivated by impact, energized by complexity, and excited to help shape the future of rare disease diagnosis and treatment, there’s no better place to do that work.
