Job Summary:

The Account Manager in the Oil & Gas sector is responsible for managing key client relationships, identifying business opportunities within the energy sector, and promoting products or services that align with client operational goals. This role combines technical understanding with strong sales and account management skills to support revenue growth and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with upstream, midstream, and downstream clients across the oil and gas industry.
  • Identify new business opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Present technical and commercial proposals tailored to oil and gas operations, such as equipment, services, or technology solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services.
  • Track sales performance, pipeline development, and account updates using CRM tools.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client sites to promote offerings and network with key stakeholders.
  • Stay current on industry regulations, safety standards, and operational practices relevant to oil and gas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required with equivalent experience).
  • 3–7 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of industry operations, procurement processes, and key players.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient with CRM software (e.g., Acumatica) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites, trade shows, and field locations as required.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, with flexible hours as needed to meet client schedules.
  • Office-based with frequent travel to client sites or field operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
