What you’ll do

Every day is different, but you'll be involved in:

• Preparing financial statements, income tax returns and general-purpose financial reports across a variety of industries and entity types.
• Assisting clients with taxation compliance, including GST, PAYG, BAS, IAS and payroll tax obligations.
• Working with companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals, giving you broad exposure across different business structures.
• Preparing reconciliations, journals, working papers and supporting documentation.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients by delivering practical, high-quality advice and exceptional service.
• Collaborating with experienced colleagues to solve problems and identify opportunities for clients.
• Continuing to build your technical knowledge through ongoing professional development and exposure to new challenges.

What you’ll bring

We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with people and wants to build a long-term career in professional services.

You'll also have:

• A degree in Accounting, Business or Commerce.
• Experience using Microsoft Office along with accounting software such as Xero and/or MYOB.
• A genuine passion for helping clients and developing into a trusted advisor.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to continuously learn and grow.
