What you’ll be doing:
As Accounts Assistant - Receivables, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers pay outstanding invoices on time and that the company credit and collections policies are implemented effectively. You will work closely with the Controller in Singapore and the sales team to minimise the Company debtor days, whist maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Day to day you'll be involved in:
- Managing and maintaining the company accounts receivable ledger, responsible in Singapore
- Chasing outstanding invoices by phone, email and letter
- Resolving customer queries relating to invoices, payments and credit notes
- Investigating any credit issues or disputes and working with sales teams in Singapore
- Updating customer receipts against invoices paid
- Identifying and reporting on high-risk customers
- Providing daily updates on the status of the accounts receivable ledger
- Monitoring credit limits for customers
- Ensuring compliance with credit policies and procedures
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and working with them to resolve any payment issues
