Role Summary
Responsible for day-to-day accounting, compliance, and financial reporting for the company. You’ll own the books end-to-end and ensure the startup stays audit-ready and compliant from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accounts on Tally sales, purchase, expenses, bank entries
Handle AR/AP: raise invoices, track receivables, process vendor payments
Bank reconciliation and petty cash management
Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
Compliance & Taxation GST:
Monthly GSTR-1, GSTR-3B filing and reconciliation with books
TDS: Deduction, payment, and quarterly returns Coordinate with CA for ITR filing, ROC compliance, and annual audit
Handle PF/ESIC filings if team is on payroll
Vendor Management
Onboard vendors, maintain vendor master, ensure timely payouts
Track startup expenses and maintain budget vs actuals
MIS & Support
Prepare weekly cash position and monthly MIS for founders Support in fundraising docs: data room, financial statements, projections Coordinate with bank for transactions, FDs, loan documentation
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
