Evergreen Care is seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team based in Dunboyne, Co Meath.

The successful candidate will handle various tasks related to Posting & Reviewing Invoices, Reconcilliation & Communicating with Suppliers as well as other tasks.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Posting and reviewing supplier invoices on Sage
  • Reconciling creditor statements
  • Preparing monthly payment runs and send remittances to suppliers
  • Post bank transactions on Sage
  • Complete weekly Bank reconciliations
  • Petty cash reconciliation
  • Communicating with suppliers and resolving any issues
  • Ensuring that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable role
  • Full clean driving license and access to own vehicle as multi site visits may be required
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable procedures and accounting principles.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Comfortable doing creditor reconciliations
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 is desirable
  • Strong background in Excel and other MS Functions
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong references & permission to work & reside
