Evergreen Care is seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team based in Dunboyne, Co Meath.
The successful candidate will handle various tasks related to Posting & Reviewing Invoices, Reconcilliation & Communicating with Suppliers as well as other tasks.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Posting and reviewing supplier invoices on Sage
- Reconciling creditor statements
- Preparing monthly payment runs and send remittances to suppliers
- Post bank transactions on Sage
- Complete weekly Bank reconciliations
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Communicating with suppliers and resolving any issues
- Ensuring that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures
Requirements
- Proven 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable role
- Full clean driving license and access to own vehicle as multi site visits may be required
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable procedures and accounting principles.
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- Comfortable doing creditor reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of Sage 50 is desirable
- Strong background in Excel and other MS Functions
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong references & permission to work & reside
