About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the full accounts receivable process for designated customers
Ensure payment allocations are timely, accurate and within terms.
Manage timely reconciliation of all debtor payments, including following up processing of credits, promotional claims and communication to the customer to rectify any errors.
Process and approve new credit applications following company policies including appropriate authority signoff for provision of credit terms, appropriate credit checks are performed, and ensuring completeness of information.
Manage high-volume of customer claims in a timely manner and ensure they are actioned and resolved within an appropriate time-frame.
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless transactions and foster positive relationships.
Prepare insightful reports to drive AR performance and manage write-offs.

Skills and Experience:

• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Must have experience in handling high-volume transactions and large ERP systems.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills via email and phone.
• Expertise in collections and claims management in high-volume environments.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within FMCG.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• A “can do“ attitude with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• A proactive mindset, teamwork spirit, and a professional communication style.
