Job Responsibilities:
As an Airframe Digital Twin Intern, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the development and integration of digital models and simulations representing airframe structures and components.
- Supporting the collection, processing, and analysis of data from various sources (CAD, PLM, sensor data, etc.) for digital twin enrichment.
- Contributing to the validation and verification of digital twin models against real-world data and specifications.
- Participating in the exploration of new tools and methodologies for digital twin creation and application.
- Documenting processes, methodologies, and findings related to digital twin development.
- Collaborating with experienced engineers and researchers on ongoing projects.
- Conducting literature reviews and research on emerging digital twin technologies and best practices in the aerospace industry.
Job Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundational knowledge in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or MATLAB for data analysis and scripting is a plus.
- Basic understanding of finite element analysis (FEA) concepts and tools is beneficial.
- An interest in digital twin concepts, IoT, data analytics, and aerospace manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
